CLARA SORIA
Clara Soria is a film director with a refined eye for aesthetics and immersive storytelling. She works across advertising and television projects, combining versatility with a unique sensitivity for emotionally driven narratives, focusing on creating striking imagery and guiding authentic performances.
With extensive experience, Clara develops mini documentaries, campaigns, music videos, and digital content, as well as behind-the-scenes films for series and movies featuring major Globoplay artists. In advertising, she brings her creative vision to campaigns for renowned brands such as Natura, Mastercard, Spotify, Amazon, Converse, Itaú, Boticário, among others. Her expertise also extends to several projects for Globo, including promos and campaigns for GloboNews, SporTV, and Premiere, as well as the production and direction of content for Estúdios Globo.
She directed the short film “LEONA”, a mini documentary about the pioneering trans YouTuber Leona Vingativa from Belém do Pará, which remained among the most watched films on the SPCine Play platform for five years. She also directed the mini documentary “Meu Nome é Bete”, and her microfilm “Lave o Maracujá”, which was selected for the Cabíria Women’s Film Festival.
Clara also worked as editor and cinematographer on the music video “Amoruim” by singer Letrux, and directed and conceived the music video “Todos que eu amo” by Marisa Brito, with music production by Antonio Abujamra.
