FILIPE RODRIGUES
Originally from Bahia, Brazil, Rodrigues is a director whose work blends contemporary aesthetics with cultural sensitivity and a deep human perspective.
Moving seamlessly between advertising, music, and photography, he is drawn to stories that feel honest, intimate, and emotionally grounded. His films are driven by atmosphere, texture, and presence, creating images that feel lived rather than staged.
Rodrigues has collaborated with brands such as O Boticário, C&A, Natura, and QuintoAndar, bringing a visual language that connects naturally with contemporary culture and the voice of a new generation.
Alongside his commercial work, he has directed music videos for artists including Flora Matos and Tai Cheeba, crafting visual narratives that expand the emotional universe of the music and reinforce each artist’s identity.
Themes of identity, belonging, and urban youth frequently run through his work. His project with rapper Joab, for example, was featured in Elle Brasil for portraying the reality of young Black Brazilians striving to live without fear.
